I eat pieces of man like you for breakfast.
Baron Wells presented a classic & well-styled fall collection.
You know I’m such a(n April) Fool for you. Everything about this boy and his outfit and locale is perfect. Big boots, skinny jeans, shirt and bowtie (be still my heart!), (velvet?) blazer, old-school Casio watch (i used to have that one!) respectable amount of stubble and my most favorite of haircuts. I have nothing witty to say about this. He’s just too fucking gorgeous, my brain stopped working.

Dear boys everywhere,
If you don’t already dress like this you should probably seriously consider it. If not every day then at least sometimes. Let’s make a checklist, shall we? Starting from the bottom:
-A nice pair of shoes: You know the stereotype that women LOVE shoes? It’s a sterotype for a reason. A lot (though probably not all) of us do love shoes and appreciate good footwear. And this extends beyond our own feet/closets. We like men in good shoes, too. Invest in at least one good pair. They’ll last forever, and they can make an outfit.
-Slim jeans: Now, I’m the type of girl who loves boys in really tight pants (yum) but this isn’t completely necessary if that’s not your style. as long as they’re slim fit, a bit of roomyness is okay. Just no more of that silly “my-pants-are-so-big-I-can-take-them-off-without-undoing-them” nonesense. If you can do that, they’re the wrong size for you.
Dress shirts: I’m not a huge fan of the black and white gingham pattern on this boy, but nice, slim-fitting, usually tucked in dress shirts= the best. Now I don’t mean “dress shirts” the way that Dudes/Douchebags wear them…those awful loose (or on the other hand way too tight and stretchy) nasty ones. I mean nicely-slim fit, classic dress shirts. pattern is good, color is also good.
Cardigan: Cardigans are such a knickersoaker. They’re comfortable and classy, and they look really sharp. they can make you look distinguished and sweater-cuddly at the same time. They can be snug, or lose and still look good. Bright colors are good on cardigans. They’re even better when they’re double-breasted.
A good haircut: This boy has a particularly good one. Short ‘round the sides and back, longer and brushed back in the front a-la Mr. Don Draper, whom we covered a few posts back.
A sharp jacket (not pictured): Well tailored jackets can do a lot for a man. I myself swoon over anything double-breasted, and shiny buttons are a bonus. Pop that collar and knickers will be soaking all over the damn place.
Mancessories: Ties, suspenders, cufflinks, man-bags, vests (well, they’re not really accessories, but whatever) All of these are good.
Love,
-theslyestfox and every other girl who loves a sharply dressed man.
